This is the first in a series of quilts that explore connection, disconnection, intersection and immersion. These whole cloth quilts feature curved figures created with different colors of thread. In this quilt, two partial circles connect, bumping against one another. The image is created by switching from black thread in the background to a pale pink in the circular figures creating high contrast on dark fabric.
